Established as a Saddlery and riding
outfitters nearly 50 years ago by Joan Calcutt, Calcutt
and Sons Ltd has been run for many years by Ian Compton
and the business has a well deserved reputation for expert
and friendly advice.
Our specialities are hunting and polo ranging from engraved
hunt buttons to our own "indestructible" Polo Cap in traditional
or Euro standards. Hunting coats and Beagle Jackets are
made to order, along with all accessories, and we can supply
specialist stainless steel bits.
We design and make our own saddles and bridlework. Our craftsmen
repair saddles, bridles, rugs, boots and all types of leatherwork
in our own workshops. Clippers and blades are serviced on
the premises.
We help ease the cost associated with fast growing families
by selling good quality second hand saddlery, jackets, jodhpurs
and boots as well as by taking them in part exchange.
